The Department of Tourism, Government College Sector 9 Gurugram, celebrated Haryana Tourism Day on September 1, 2025. All the students enthusiastically participated in collage/chart making on tourism destinations of Haryana and a quiz competition on tourism in Haryana. A screening test was also organized in the tourism department, in which more than 55 students participated. Out of these, six teams were selected, each consisting of two members.
Team D, comprising Himanshu and Ajay, secured the first position. The Swarnali team scored second position, and Nikhil and Harsh captured the third position. The faculties of the department, including Dr. Meenakshi Dalal, Dr. Lalita Gaur, and Ms. Reena, graced the occasion and congratulated all the winners of the quiz. Principal Dr. Neelam Dahiya blessed all the winners and participants. It was a wonderful celebration.
