Department of Tourism, Govt. College, Sector-9, Gurugram celebrated Haryana Tourism Day with great pomp and show. On this occasion various activities have been organized like: Slogan Writing, Rangoli making, Collage Exhibition, Quiz Competition, Cleanliness campaign along with oath.
Students wrote slogans about “say no to single-use plastic” to create awareness among the students. Moreover, students have exhibited Haryanvi cultural and natural tourism attractions by beautiful collages. In the Haryanvi Quiz, team Masterminds (Mr. Arun, Mr. Himanshu & Mr. Utkarsh) secured first place, team Born to Win (Mr. Mukul, Mr. Deepanshu Verma & Ms. Shivani) secured second place and team Quiz’s Kings (Ms. Deepanshi, Ms. Piryanshu Sharma & Ms. Deeksha) secured third place. In Haryanvi Quiz the following dimensions were covered: cuisines, sports, heritage, culture, History, Geography, and tourism attractions of Haryana with motels. In the last, oath taking ceremony was conducted about “Say No to Signal Use Plastic” followed by a cleaning campaign in college premises.
Principal Mam, Dr. Madhu Arora congratulate the students of tourism department for this event on the occasion of Haryana Tourism day and blessed the budding travel professionals for their bright future. Respected Principal Mam also discussed about available and emerging jobs in this dynamic & job oriented professional course.
