The Tourism Department of Government College, Sector 9, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga' campaign. Students of the department created a colorful representation of the tricolor using colored pens and paper, and decorated the entire department with balloons in the colors of the tricolor.
On this occasion, Dr. Madhu Arora, Principal of the college, highly appreciated the efforts of the students and extended her warm wishes to them on Independence Day. She also explained the significance of independence to them.
Principal Dr. Arora made the students of the Tourism Department aware of the employment opportunities available in their subject and told them about the importance of time management. She said that if they waste their time, they will not only destroy their dreams but also fail to fulfill their parents' expectations. Therefore, the main goal of students should be to utilize their time and education properly.
All members of the department, including Dr. Anjana, Dr. Pardeep, Mr. Ravi Kumar, and Dr. Brijesh, were present on this occasion."
