The Commerce Department of Government College, Sector 9, joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2025 to honor the invaluable contributions of teachers and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a visionary philosopher and educationist
The program began with a warm welcome of the faculty members by the students of the department. A lamp-lighting ceremony was conducted, followed by a short speech on the significance of Teachers’ Day. The students expressed their gratitude by presenting handmade cards, cultural performances, and songs dedicated to their mentors.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of both students and faculty in making the program successful. It was truly a memorable day that strengthened the bond between teachers and students in the Commerce Department
