The Legal Literacy Cell of the college celebrated literacy week from September 1, 2023 to September 8, 2023 as part of ULLAS. The program aimed to enhance the legal awareness and understanding of college students, empowering them with essential knowledge about their rights, responsibilities, and legal framework governing various aspects of society. The literacy week celebrated with proper guidance and support of principal mam. In this week, many events were conducted throughout the week.
On September 4 and September 5, debate competition and declamation competition and Poster making was conducted where 24, 13 and 20 students participated respectively. On September 5, college organized a workshop and it was privileged to host distinguished speakers who delivered informative session about importance of literacy. The session was chaired by Dr. Lokesh Sharma and Dr. Amitesh Boken from Government College for Girls Sec-14, Gurugram. Their expertise and insights provided valuable perspectives and ernriched the learning experience for the students. On September 6, Slogan writing competition was conducted where 46 students participated respectively. Dr. kusum Bareja was invited to judge the poster making and slogan writing competition. All the winners of Declamation, Poster, Debate and slogan competition were given prize money for their efforts.
On the September 8, last day of literacy week, rally on literacy awareness was conducted in college and near places of college to aware people about importance of literacy. The event was a significant step towards promoting awareness and empowering students to become informed and responsible members of society. A sincere gratitude to college administration for support and encouragement in organizing this event.
