Health Facilities Provided by the College
The college provides essential health facilities to ensure the physical and mental well-being of its students. A dedicated College Dispensary functions on campus where students are provided with first aid and emergency medical assistance. In case of serious illness or injury, students are promptly referred to the nearby Civil Hospital, Sector-9, Gurugram, for advanced medical care.
The Women Cell of Government College Sector-9, Gurugram, plays an active role in promoting health and hygiene among students. It regularly organizes awareness activities on menstrual health and hygiene through workshops, expert talks, and distribution drives. The Cell also focuses on personal hygiene practices, including hand-washing, sanitation, and safe drinking water habits. Sessions on mental and physical well-being such as yoga, meditation, and stress management are conducted, along with campus cleanliness drives aligned with the vision of a safe, hygienic, and plastic-free environment.
In addition, the college regularly organizes dental check-up and oral health awareness programmes for students and staff. Blood donation camps and blood hemoglobin (Hb) check-up camps are also conducted from time to time, reflecting the institution’s commitment to holistic health care and community service.
